Rollin With Jesus Ministry

September 28, 2001, I was shot four times with an AK-47. I was a Police Officer for a small town in Colorado when I was ambushed. I had went out from my day off and was looking for the people responsible for brutally killing a Sheriff's Deputy. I had information that the suspects were renting a trailer in town so my partner and I drove in to the trailer park in an attempt to locate the space # and then back off and watch for any activity. If we happened to see something we would call the swat team in. As we drove in we noticed no activity. As I drove by a red truck parked just two trailers down I heard POP POPPOPPOP POP POP. I felt a sharp burn in my back and then went black. I drove on and hit a tree at approximately 45mph. I was then transported to the Hospital where the Doctors removed my left kidney and attempted to repair as much as they could through numerous operations. The shooting left me paralyzed from my waist down.

While I was at the Hospital I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I have just recently started speaking in Churches telling what God has done through my tragedy. I am on fire for God and hoping to travel the country telling my story. I will go through any door God opens for me. I just recently spoke in a small church and a Women gave her life to Jesus. Again I hope I can tell how wonderful God is even through tragedy. As you can imagine there is a lot more to my story and I hope to tell it to all. Thank you and God bless to you all. Toby Bethel
