So growing up, my family never went to church and I heard of God and thought it was a bunch of bull. I thought if God was real my life wouldn't be crappy. I can remember staying up listening to my dad scream at my mom and crap like that, and then they got a divorce. That was the last straw. I officially declared myself an atheist, and I was full out atheist. I didn't want anything to do with God, I hated him. I cursed him. I cursed anyone who believed in him. If something bad happend I just start cussing up a storm and blaming God and if he was real and blah blah blah. In 2006 my girlfriend at the time tried to get me to go to church and just kept saying non-stop, "no way. I'm not doing it." then in 2007, mid october, my friend wanted me to go to church with him for a day, and well I wanted to see some cute girls. (just to throw this in there I've been with the one girl who caught my eye for a year!) Well, seeing this one girl, I wanted to go more often to see her. (I was too shy to talk to her. haha.) Well I started to go on Wednesdays during youth, and I'd sit there and think to myself, "how can they worship a thing that's not really there. they are a bunch of idiots." Then November 28, 2007 came around. I can remember it like it was yesterday, this guy, Frank, was preaching in the youth pastor's place that night. He was saying if you're having problems in your life come up here and you'll get prayed for. I thought, heck, what can it hurt? So I went up there. and he was like, "Have you been saved?" and I looked at him kinda crazy like and said no and thought I don't plan on it either. Well he started praying, and boom... Holy Spirit action right there. I just felt completely happy, and just a smiling like crazy. and I was like woah, is this God? Later that night I was chillin with my friend in the parking lot, and I was like, I think I got saved tonight. I didn't even know I was saved. I was just like shocked. Well, in 8 days I'll have been a christian for 10 months. and my biggest regret in life, is for 17 years of my life, I never, not once gave God a chance. I look back and see how many times he tried to move in my heart and I just blocked him out. I can never repay him for the blessings, the goodness, and the mercies. I'll praise you forever Lord. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

My name is Michael Murray.
I'm 18.
Blue eyes, brown hair,
about 6 feet tall.
I have an amazing girlfriend.
Whom everyday my love for her grows. :]
I graduated from Dayton High School on Dec. 17th 2008.
I plan to go to Berean Bible College and major in Theology.
God is leading me to be a youth pastor.
I love music.
I love to write music, and perform. :]
I write poetry, and I draw.
but of course my biggest passion is God.
He's done so much for me.
I can never thank him enough.
I've prayed about this over and over,
and I am positive that my calling is to be a youth pastor.
I want to go to Barean Online Bible College.
I originally wanted to go to,
Southwestern Assembly Of God University.
but with the diploma I'm getting I can't go to a university.
